hi there!

Hey, what's up. I've been around here for almost a year. This forum isn't all that happening, but if you have a question or comment of the band and their music it will almost always get answered by the band members (Paul, Larry and the now former member Eric Burnley who cut his hair :)). This is a great band and a damn great group of peoples. I'm just waiting for my chance to see them do a live show.

Later.......

I just bought my first Novembers Doom album... "to welcome the fade"......excellent album, i wanna get hold of the earlier stuff though but i cant find it, i heard a song by them called "my agony, my ecstacy" which i really liked and i cant find the album its on

The song "My Agony, My Ecstacy" can be found on our first album Amid Its Hallowed Mirth, which originally came out on AvantGarde back in early '95....it has since been re-released with two bonus tracks on Dark Symphonies...if you can't find this album in any stores near you, you can order it cheap and easy from DarkSymphonies.com....you can also find our other releases there as well.

You can download 3 songs for free from www.mp3.com/novembersdoom

or, you can buy the debut CD, Amid its Hallowed Mirth, and the mini CD, For Every Leaf That Falls on eMusic.com.

Thanks, I already downloaded the songs from mp3.com but I thought there is a site where I can get/buy more songs. I would rather buy mp3's than cd's... because i get them instantly... i don't have to wait the shipment and all... like it happened with To Welcome The Fade which is the only full album I have from you. From the other albums I only have the few free songs I finded on the web.

Anyway, thanks again Paul! I can call you Paul??? :)

yeah... this forum is not very active, and it's a pity beacause this is really a great band, and the band members take their time to post here....
well, maybe things will change. :)
I think this my first post on this board, but yeah, it would be nice to see these boards pick-up. Amazing band.. I don't see why the Opeth board is over-crowded and yet this board is under crowded. The songs are equally impressive, if not better than the majority of Opeth music. Then again, it's that eye/ear of the beholder thing. I'm just rambling now... I need sleep. Anyway, hope you (as in the band) don't think I'm one of those "LEIK OMG U GUYZ R GODZ CAN I LIK THE GROUND U WLK ON?! OMG OMG OMG!" kind of people. That's it, I need to just click submit before I make more of an ass of myself. :Spin:

LOL, don't worry, we all tend to ramble on like idiots on here at some point or another! Thanks for the compliments and all.....yes we would be very happy to see more people posting here and all, like over at the Opeth board and whatnot, but we appreciate those that do and anyone who has any questions about the band and our music, etc., are most welcome to post here and as you'll see we try to reply as best as we can. UltimateMetal.com really has a great service going here and we regularly check out the other band's forums as well as our own. Anyhow, welcome to the new people here at the ND forum! I'm going to bed now, damn it, I need sleep!!

I nede to contribute more here, but I haven't been around much lately. I was first introducedto the band when I noticed on the In Flames board that ShadowLioness had 666 posts and I wen to see i fshe said anything about it, and it was here, so I checked out a few of the songs, and you know hte rest (*lazy*)
