About a minute and a half after the end of 'By the Pain I See in Others' Mikael's voice comes in with reverse reverb(?) effects singing in Swedish(?)...About 30 seconds after that ends...it happens again...Is that present on both editions of the CD?
That's what I want to know. I guess it would be possible that it is special for the limited edition? Someone who has the jewel case version has to enlighten us.

I don't think it's swedish...it sounds more like a reversed vocal phrase with reversed reverb/delay on it.
I listened to it reversed (forward) and it sounds like the vocal part in Master's Apprentice's where there's the weird swoopy effect on the vocals before the acoustic parts.
It's a few verses out of Master's Apprentices played in reverse. Basically reversing the whole thing reversed the reverb and delay on the voice... trippy sounding indeed, but... kinda lame.
I don't think it's lame at all.... it's very creepy.... the kind of thing that I don't feel comfortable listening to at night, right along with Tool's "Disgustipated"....
I confirm that it's present in the jewel case version as well. I know since that's the version I just bought. I wonder if they are the link between Deliverance and Damnation of some sort. I want D2 into my hands, RIGHT NOW!!!
