Nice thread! How can you insult a band within the first sentence when you have not listened to the band or have any idea what they sound like;very close minded. Stating your opinion is fine and great, but do not bash a band that you have no clue as to what they do or how HUGE their fan base is. And to not listen to a band because of what you read is so ridiculous.

I like a couple of their songs, but a lot of it is just kinda whiny boring stuff. I've seen them live, and they were pretty awful...no energy whatsoever.

He's very conceited and self-absorbed, and TRIES to portray this Jim Morrison-meets-Robert Smith (I think that's his name...the singer for the Cure) kind of aura, but it just comes off forced and unnatural.

Actually, Love Metal is MUCH better than Razorblade Romance. Better song structure, better harmonies, better vocals, better instrument playing, etc...

If anything, HIM has progressively gotten BETTER.

Your probably right, Love Metal is a good album, Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlight is their worst I think.

Their singer doesnt think its right to wash your body or hair, that its unnatural, so that stopped me from listening.

Daily or even weekly bathing is a "luxury" shared mostly by those in the first world. the vast, "Vast" majority of the world population doesnt not share this luxurious "habit" we have. theres 10 million things similar to this. the term "natural" is subjective at best.
