IT WAS SO GOOD.
I almost died and went all fangirl when Blakkheim was standing around in between songs. I shouted "Blakkheim!" and he waved at me, I waved back. Totally fangirl moment.
Geez. I don't know what got into me.
I also got one of his signature guitar picks, which made me happy.
The setlist was amazing... still slightly bummed that Sulfur wasn't included, but, whatever, can't have everything. Teargas was amazing, as was Ghost of the Sun, July, and everything they played in between.

Holy shit they played Don't Tell a Soul. Chrome, and Future of Speech. That did it for me. total of 4 songs off of LFDGD.

I can post Insomnium's setlist later, I grabbed a pic of it. Can someone post Katatonia's full setlist? I didn't keep track of it, and they didn't use printed setlists on stage. Thanks in advance!

The show was freakin amazing all around, despite the atrocious sound for StS and Insomnium. Can't wait to see it again tomorrow! I got a lot of awesome pics, so my review should be up within a week or so if I have the time

We're we at the same show? The sound for Katatonia was horrendous. This was the first time I ever walked away from one of their shows disappointed.

Where were you standing? Once I left the pit I walked around to several parts of the venue and the sound was at least decent all around, at least where I walked to. Definitely wasn't stellar, but it was good I thought.

The sound in general wasn't good. It truly did depend on where you were standing, though. The guitar was way too loud.... but I didn't think the sound was that bad for Katatonia, thought he vocals could have been louder!

so Sparrowsblood and I prepare for our journey to Ohio, then back to Detroit and then to Mokena. I am expecting this to be a great time, and the KATS never let me down. A full pictorial will follow etc etc etc.....
