lol, not exactly, not only Mexicans, there are people from the center and south of America in the States, but for you and for the United Statean people for them are the same, haha they call MExicans to everyone.

And yes here In Mexico almost the 90 % of the population has dark skin, and in the other places in Latin America is almost the same, with exception of Argentina and Chile.

that's so true. any hispanic ppl we see around here, we just assume they're mexican . As for me, no, I'm not Italian nor from the Mediterranean part. My parents are Indian (like from Asia, not native american) and I also have some British blood in me; I'm not very dark skinned. But I consider myself American more than anything

Anyway, I must confess that italian people aren't really let's say skin tanned like pretty much everyone thinks... I can assure you we are much more "white-alike" than what we are known for, and obviously this isn't much good too.
