How are you guys doin?

Finally got to go back to the office this week, first time since March. We're on a rotating schedule, though -- one week in the office, two weeks remote, repeat. Everyone gets a weekly email from the head of the district saying in a vague and roundabout way that we might still lose our jobs. Whatever. If I'm still employed by the end of the year, I'm going to try to get back into a nicer apartment.

Also, I've gotten too fat for most of my work pants. Oooooofa.

Both threads are interchangeable at this point.

Update: I can mostly fit back into my work pants now. And I now have to go to the office two days a week, no more two-week rotation thing. I don't mind.

Bill & Ted 3 is the short-term cure that 2020 needs.

Sure it's not great, and it's pretty aw shucks, but who cares? I laughed my ass off a few times and it was a fun little ride.

There. Now it's a movie thread.

I'd be doing better if I could find DEER PONG in stores and not have to order it. Freakin' Nickelodeon -- that's almost all I watch anymore and their toy/game commercials have gotten to me.

Starting in 3 hours, the majority of forests in California will be closed to the public. No camping no hiking no driving no jeeping no farting no breathing.

8,000+ acre forest fire burning 10 miles down the road from here because someone lit off fireworks during one of the driest, hottest heat waves in history. Fireworks. In the forest. During a record heat wave.

Humans are fucking DUMB.

Yep. I guess we've made national news with this bullshit, wooooo go Team Stupid!

No lessons will be learned. Another gender reveal explosion burned 47,000 acres of forest in Arizona a few years ago.

Yeah the sky has been freaky looking the last couple days. I woke up the other morning and there was an odd red/yellow hue to the world. It reminded me of Night of the Comet.

hahaha holy shit it really does. I need to watch that one again, films like that have become educational in 2020.

Figured I'd vote today because my workplace is an early voting location and I've never had issues voting there before. But this time, I had a poll worker looking at my completed ballot as I submitted it. Not cool. Didn't seem concerned about social distancing, either.
