Germany: Get inside and stay there. Now.

Sweden: Whatever.

Masks are fucking gay. If you get it, you get it. If you die, you die and move on to your next life path.

My freedoms shouldnt end to give you a warm fuzzy feeling.

But in all seriousness, I do wear a mask but I hate it. And I firmly believe the masks really dont do shit.

And once the vaccine is distributed, whats stopping businesses from preventing you to enter unless you can show youve received the vaccine? "Show me your vaccine papers!"

Im rambling. Whateves.

Love to see people doing active sports while wearing a mask.
And they actually do threat cutting out people who refuse to vaccinate. Shows, festivals, shops, airports, hospitals all that... super fun times :)

Doing pretty good with the new activity. All the rest sucks though living in a small village with my own garden is a privilege in this day and age.
They can shove their vaccine up their ass.

Agreed. But think about it. What if your employer says you are on unpaid leave until you get the vaccine? Hypothetical, of course. But my employer requires temp scanning and a fucking gay mask. So why not a vaccine?

Yeah, I can see how it could become an issue. I'm in academia so my circumstances have been different. I'm not a tenured professor or anything yet so I don't have complete independence, but I've been blessed to fulfill my responsibilities from home/virtually. It looks like the course I'm going to teach next spring will probably be virtual so I don't think I'll run into this conflict before this virus runs its course.

Having said that, I've been convinced for some time now that we are entering a time in which we will see the dissolution of our society on a number of fronts. It seems that our only political options are division (secession) or massive violence (maybe both). Eventually, most of us are going to have to make hard decisions and sacrifices. I'm not in a great position to do this, but I intend to move as much to a self-reliant, self-sustaining lifestyle as possible for when the seams finally rip apart. There's so much uncertainty in the air that I don't think we've experienced something quite like it in our lifetimes.

Last month I was injected with influenza and tetanus vaccines at the same time so now I have SUPER POWERS.

I don't see the vaccine becoming mandatory for the public, though I could be wrong. I expect certain employers may require it (mine included). I'll take it and risk the effects, just as I've been risking getting the 'rona for the past 8 months.

And no, I didn't report the poll worker peeping at my ballot. Wasn't worth the fuss.

To clarify, I'm not antivax. However, research and scientific debate on the efficiency and inocuity of the new mRNA vaccines is totally not conclusive at this point, yet all I see is people ready to trample each other to be first in line, which is in fact quite puzzling. The thing is that to a lot of people any vaccine equates a get out of jail card so they can resume they former lifestyle as if nothing happened (and thus favor the spreading of the next epidemic).
So no, I won't have my cells tampered with until there is sufficient scientific consensus. Sure it might take years and viruses will come and go in the meantime. Wash your hands, wear a mask when necessary and protect your loved (and unloved) ones.

Exactly pretty much. I would like our elected leaders and their children/grandchildren to get the vaccine first. You know, lead by example.

For the record, my kids and I get a flu shot every year. And my kids got all vaccines at an early age. But possible side effects could take years to manifest and understand. No thanks, I will take my chances and hopefully be part of the 98%+ survival rate

Again....my body, my choice.
