How Do Find Musicians To Collaborate With ¯\(°_o)/¯

A talented singer friend of mine is looking for musicians to collaborate with. Any suggestions where she should look? We are going to post on Craigslist for local people. She is open to working with people via Internet. I know there are some collaboration sites out there and I'm curious if any of you have recommendations. Maybe share your experiences. Maybe she should check this new fandalism thingy on facebook. I'm not sure what it's all about but you're supposed to be able to search for musicians in your area or at distance, genre etc.
