How do release EP/Album for free ?

just wondering? who here knows of sites like these that put up peoples cd's for download?
Like these two site: I got them to post my bands EP.

For the Dropbox thing: Haven't experienced it myself but I think I remember that some dude's files got deleted because he hosted a bunch of multitracks that a lot of people from this board downloaded and therefore generated a lot of traffic. iirc he got a message telling him that Dropbox essentially isn't a filehoster (which it's not in the first place).
