HIGHLY doubt that. It may sound the same to you, but judging from your threads and posts I'm going to go way out on a limb and guess you haven't been doing this long enough to make that judgement. Case in point, you made that judgement. Not trying to be a dick, just pointing out that better trained ears would know better. I mean you make a thread asking how to record DI guitar and then say your built-in soundcard sounds better than a dedicated audio recording interface, there is something really wrong there.
The Countryman Type85 DI is like the de facto standard in the industry. They are like $100 used look on eBay.
