My local scene is really bland. Its all indie and generic grunting metal. There are some awesome 'underground' bands in the Uk, just none in my area.

The most kickass thing to happen around here was when my kids' recess at school was cancelled due to black bears wandering around the school.

We have a pretty cool scene here in Indianapolis...But it could be that I feel that way because I'm part of it and all the bands are pretty good friends and stuff. We have a couple bands that have recently been signed, Demiricous (Metal Blade) and Year of Desolation (Prosthetic) and a few others with some interest brewing...We also have a stable of bands that have pretty good draws in town. I'd like to think my band is one of them, but that really isn't up to me to decide. We all have fun, love metal and love shows, so that's what makes it for me.

Melbourne Australia, probably has the best of the metal scene - the biggest problem with the metal scene in Australia is that we are so remote.

Loads of power metal - Black Majesty, Vanishing Point, Pegasus, Eyefear

And fuckn' Poker Machine's are killing the live venues, Sydney had loads of live venues, as Real Estate prices went up and poker machines took over venues - the live scene died

our scene is pretty cool up in Michigan but it also sucks at the same time. A lot of bands are assholes and only out for themselves there is a lot of ego bullshit! I'm sure everyone everywhere can relate to this.

That being said this is a video from our first show ever and we had a real good turn out, close to about 75 people in this little ass place. You really only see the few crazy people up front in this video!!

Oh yea i know the video sux it was shot on a digital camera! But the sound quality rocks.
