How many Cd's do you own?

In my defense I'll say that I made those categorization a pretty long time ago and now it's too much of a hassle to change it all ;P but it's something along the lines of:

EP = 7"
MCD = mini CD
CD-single = hehe this one is pretty whimsical, I only have two (Lake of Tears - Socrersesese and Blind Guardian - AttWS) but yeah, perhaps they ought to be listed as MCDs

Hell if i had known about 1 ½ - 2 years ago i would have sent 400+ cassettes to you guys although all of it wasn't thrash but a good portion of it was. I ended up leaving most behind moving/giving them away.

I have 100+/- albums collected over thirty years. As others, it’s a crapless collection. Though I am not to be relied upon for good judgement in terms of crap/gems. There is also no room for anything that is just "good". Nor anything that belongs in a collection "just because". You know, as advertised: "every metal collection must include this album." That sort of thing.

At one point I did have about twice as many albums. I lost them in an accident. Which is a polite way of saying I burned the house down and everything in it.

When it came time to replace them, I thought about which ones I was really missing. Wasn’t missing it? Didn’t need it.

I actually get most of my non-metal albums that way, like if the mainstream press hails an album as classic for years and years I'll check it out.

Metal albums I trust small scale stuff, like if 10 dudes I trust say ESSENTIAL I'll check it out.

If that happened to me I'd probably only replace about a dozen albums :loco: but then every other day I'd think "Ooooh I feel listening to xxx" and then remember it was destroyed :cry: and then continue ad infinitum for all the random songs I've ever heard...
