How many cds do you own

I currently have about 80 real cd's and about 20 music dvd's, though both these numbers look like increasing by about 10 before the end of the year due to many awesome releases coming soon...

I have a TON. Around 300 or so metal cds and around 700 rock/jazz/classical cds. Most of the classic rock cds are my dad's, but I claim them as mine.

Plus a lot more that i've forgotten.

Edit: I have around 200 pirated albums/mp3s.

Edit 2: My dad has around 150 actual records or LPs also.

probably around 5500-6000. i used to work at a college radio station and would get tons of promo cd's every week. i had a prog show, so that was awesome.

I didn't even know there were that many Prog albums.

I have near 200 real CDs... over half of my music collection is on MP3. I can't be buying CDs every paycheck anymore... I've only boughten five CDs so far this year.

oh, they're not all prog albums. it's a wide array from almost every genre with the exceptions of modern pop and emo.

but yeah, metal, rock, classic rock, 90's alternative, grunge, death metal, thrash, disco, oldies, country, rap, 80's pop, classical, drum and bass, house, trance, jazz...everything.

I'd say almost 500 now, about 350 of them are metal, rest are Hardcore, Punk, Rock, Classic Rock

Well, I have a CD shelf that holds 850 jewel cases and it's packed full. Plus, I have all the submissions that we get in boxes so I don't know how many unique discs total I have. Then there's all the stock discs we sell which number in the few thousand, but those don't count.

He probably means he lost all his CDs, I know people who lost huge collections in stuff like house fires and such.

I have like 60 CDs, and I could count the number of pirated CDs I have on my right hand.

I have about 1500 legit cds, and at least that many bootlegs culled from places like Dime A Dozen. All rock oriented, but there are some Jazz & Classical cds in there as well....
