I have to ask, am I the only one who sees these oil shieks with 200 room homes, fleets of Rolls Royces, a FUCKING car made of Silver, etc.... And just says, WTF?!?!
There has to be a point when the rest of the world say's FUCK YOU to the mid-east, and others, puts economic embargos on them and gets this shit in check.
There are some that can afford this, but, low income or fixed (meaning college kids, retired folks, etc) are just out of luck.
My Mom is on fixed income, social security, and gets about $800 a month. If you have a car with a 15 gallon tank, and you fill it once a week, that is $240 a month. Electric, Natural Gas, Water, trash, sewer, that is another $500 a month. So that leaves about $60 for food on the table, and any kind of life afterwards. FOR THE WHOLE FUCKING MONTH!!! Are you kidding me??? I hate to say, $60 is not even a really fun NIGHT!! Let alone if you have to live on that for a month?!?!?
I challange every fucking person on this board... Fight this shit!!! Send emails to every politician you can. Buy any oil that is not middle east, etc.
We have to stand up and fight this shit!! If not, pretty soon, our way of life goes away.

according to that the Kroger gas station which I previously claimed $3.84 is now $3.89, but since I get 3 cents off per gallon with my membership card then it's really $3.86 if I were to buy gas at this moment.
4.15 cheapest I've seen in seattle for regular today. But it is good that these high prices are ass raping those driving SUVs and single moms driving suvs (what a hateful passion i have for those). ANd also that in detroit they are testing electric cars (saw it on the news last week). In the long run, getting raped by gas prices for a little while is quite good i say

I'm not on a fixed income and I'm lucky to have $60 for myself to do whatever I want with after I pay my bills and rent. Fucking sucks ass. Rent keeps getting higher, and my pay stays the same. Miss one payment on any bill and next thing you know you're way behind.
I'm on the verge of taking the bus to work from now on and only driving when I need to. Maybe your mom could try that as well to save some coinage?

That is true, we have trillions of barrels in shale oil, anwar, coast of Fla and CA. It is beyond my comprehension (well, the politicians who are in bed with big oil) as to why we are not using this. Let alone the trying alternative fuels.
