Anyway, i find a successful way is to let them hear cleaner songs first, like The Drapery Falls. Because usually an early turn off for those pussies are the vocals. If you give them something that is remotely heavy with some metal vocals but a lot of clean voice, they tend to be interested. I haven't been a metal fan very long, and I've converted 2 or 3 people already.
