Huge Complaint with the new Arch Enemy...

i KNEW it....hey Andy, you got those gaps on Bob Clearmountain's Song Gap Silence Samples Vol. 2 CD-ROM right?

I'll admit that I'm known for every once in a while saying some stupid shit at the wrong place at the wrong time, but gahhhht-DAAAAAAMN that took the cake....

LOL that's fucking incredible that someone would say that. What is this, romper room?

Oh really? Can you post a sample of the silence? Did you use your C4 Setting on it? How do you EQ this "Silence of Death" ???

Tell us! ;)

Dss3 is right about the machtkampf drum intro sounding the same as territory, i couldnt imagine anyone not noticing this, its a cool beat none the less. However, riffs are a dime a dozen so they're bound to sound similiar to others, no point making comparisons. * waits for yet another joke about silence * hilarious, i'm sure.

i've read allot of complaints on the lamb of god forum but actually, when i heard 1 song that was posted on this forum ? i can't quite remember. i thought i really rocked !
but i don't know what the album title is. what is it ?

oh and...question for Andy. Hoew do I get rid of the "clicking" noise it makes after my songs when I hit stop on my Tascam 4 track? Your silence is perfect, mine has a popping noise. Should i use a limiter? What kind of limiter do you have?

hehe.

I've got the new Arch Enemy too and I think it's pretty solid, better than Anthems and probably as good as Wages of Sin.

I've always that thought Arch kind of re-hashed some parts of song but I don't really give a shit because I enjoy listening to all of their albums.

I still prefer Necrotism to anything Arch Enemy have done though.

What an album!

(Andy: well done on the new Arch, it seems to be up to your usual high standards.)

This is now officially the thread of the art of silence.

I recently had a dream where Opeth was a band known for its silence. The tone of silence that Opeth produced were only available from special pickups illegally manufactured and sold by some sort of dark clerics.

You had to bid for those pickups on some super secretive web site, and they would sell for something like $2800 and upwards. If I remember corectly the site was frequently down to avoid being detected by Interpol something.

:Spin:

My complaint with the album is the production sounds exactly like TGE and everything else you do.
