man, what is WRONG with people on here... "don't Partronize me"... "don't hate me".. jesus titty-fuckin'-christ, thought i was just answering your quesion for you.. i wasn't being "mean" or condescending. what makes poeople think they can read other's minds though an internet forum post.. jeeessshh.Familia><Publica said:As i was saying, the broken sound is more evident on the LEFT, im astute enough to know whether or not it was a different riff that was degrading the sound. Don't patronise my observations. LISTEN to the rhythms tone on the left at 40 seconds, if you cant hear how it sounds "broken" , i'd be surprised. Listening through headphones, i took the right earphone off, to confirm my suspicions. Probably sounds dumb, but i know im not imagining things. Pissed me off, cause i wanted to like these amps, cheaper than the rectumfrier i bought for 500 quid more, which is a pile of junk anyway. Dont hate me for venting my opinions.....
relax Fam, we're on the same side here; the side of getting good tones! on a second, closer listen i heard what you are talking about.. the guitar on the left is breaking up a bit in a kind of odd way. this could be caused by a number of things, such as the guitar's set-up, or pick-up , or by a bad speaker, or a speaker being driven too hard, or even by the mic's diaphragm being stressed due to too much SPL, post processing in the mix, etc. i can honestly tell you that i don't ever hear mine sounding like that, and the rest of the album doesn't sound like that. and given that the rest of the CD isn't covered with that problem i would suggest that it's a bit silly (NO, i'm NOT insulting you) to think that because you hear it in a few spots that it's the amp... too many other factors work in aggregate to make a heavy guitar tone.
friends? :Spin:
