I get a kick out of how people act like certain amps are obsolete because something new comes along. All good amps shine in certain situations, it all just depends on the player, style and the sound you're looking for. If I had the $$ and room, I'd have 20 different amps!

Andy, I remember you saying you used the Recto through the Mesa cab and the Krank through the Krank cab for this. Just curious, is that how Rickard tracked it, or did you guys reamp for the mix?

A bit late to the party here, but I just picked up the Arch Enemy album the other day. What an awesome record. It's got the perfect combination of melodic but heavy guitars with an aggressive wailing banshee on top.
