hugeeee problem please help

those LaCie drives are faaaar from bulletproof. i have a dead 500GB D2 sitting on the shelf in the other room that worked for approx. 2 months.... i have a buddy went through 12 of them before wising up. any FW drive of at least 7200 rpm will suffice, but for you pros on here i'd highly recommend OWC and Glyph.

Honestly, backing things up often is something you should do anyway. The moment you think you're secure, you aren't.

i had the same problem with logic on my mac. also, the app. would quit responding. test to see if you can reproduce the issue in another user account. you need to fix a corrupt preference, or re install osx. I reinstalled, and i was good to go bro!!! no more audio overload.... ever

do you always have your buffer that low? I might have it at 128 for recording, but later on switch to something like 1024.

well to this date i haven't had a problem and i just finished tracking an entire EP. but that one shrill note still irks me. i have a sound clip of dry and wet track for that note if anyone is interested.
