Looks like we're not evacuating anymore. The storm has shifted so much that the most we'll get is looking like 40 to 60 mph winds and some thunderstorm-like rain and thunder. I'm quite relieved, but in a way, kinda let down. I'd have liked to see if we could withstand a hurricane.

yeah, it's super bad. the highway running through my town (there's only 1, we're very tiny) is at a standstill (i've never ever seen it like this). it's taking 4 hours to travel to the next town, which is normally 15 minutes away.
