I thought the first WZ CD was cool. At least Zombie was sincere, and didn't dwell on "poor poor pitiful me-isms".

you know what made wz so fucking cool, it was their guitarist j. that dude's riffs just plain smoke, i've been listening to astro creep a lot lately (like for the schfourteen skiillionth time) and that dude just came up with some badass shit that still rocks my socks today. that main riff to blur the technicolor is just two power chords back and forth but the crazy wah thing he has going on makes it pretty damn unruly.

ahhh...other people who love WZ. i didnt think you guys existed anymore. but, yeah, as far as i remember, WZ were really the only band doing something like that. i dunno what happened to zombie. he started wearing costumes and stuff and his music got way too marilyn mansonish for me. i lost interest. but i remember the first time i heard la sexorcisto: "wtf? someone besides me who likes metal, hotrods, '70s B-movies, AND horror? wow!"
