they all suck... i wanna throw shit at the TV when that stupid whiteboard commercial comes on and they lie about all their "options"... actually try to reroute a package before? theyre fuckin useless!
I'm going to sit on my porch with a 6 pack on Wednesday (this was just a PSU for my laptop), maybe a guitar or something I dunno. I haven't had a decent computer since the beginning of this month and will be damned if I miss my mac pro.

I'm an impatient bastard when it comes to getting things I'm really excited about. When I ordered my Zune I tracked the postage online and when it was within driving distance (but it would take them another day and a half to deliver it to me) I just drove the 20 minutes to the depot and showed them my receipt they were hesitant at first but with some of my awesome persuasive charm, which works better in person I should add, they were happy to have a quick look for me and BLAM... Instant Zune.
I'm just afraid these fucks are going to try to re deliver it today. When I am not going to be home literally all day. So I'm going to pop down to the post office when it opens and see what I can sees.
Oh and I can't recommend against Global Laptop Batteries enough. $12 in shipping for a powerbook laptop adapter and they required signature confirmation (for some shitty reason this was mandatory).
If something costs me under $50 I don't want to have to sign for it.

I'm fairly certain it's a knock off, never seen a apple logo so fucked.
So I'm like "mkay better go get a meter before pluggin this in", so I test it and it's fine.
....Still worried about the integrity though

Extend that to DHL as well... I once was waiting for a guitar, stayed at home all day, checking the online tracking and in the evening it suddenly showed an attempted delivery around lunchtime. I went pretty ballistic... my bell was working just fine as well, as the regular postman confirmed when delivering the normal mail in the morning. Fuck DHL.
The next day I went to the post office (without receipt paper) and demanded to get my package... they did not try to refuse (good for them).
After over a fucking WEEK I finally got the receipt paper in the mail... so if I had waited for that (or not known where the post usually stores my packages if they can't be delivered), my guitar would have rotted at the post office for a week. Fuck DHL.
The next day I went to the post office (without receipt paper) and demanded to get my package... they did not try to refuse (good for them).

They tried that shit on me too... i was literally waiting by the front door all day one time waiting for a delivery and they didn't even come by, I was constantly checking my tracking info and i refreshed it and it said "delivery attempt made" or some shit... I would call them up and bitch them out... I made them come back out that day, not even 30 minutes later it was delivered... fucking liars.
Yep this is my day today. I refuse to have to drive 30 mins to pick this up if they fail.

yea, UPS tried that shit with me a few times. all 3 times they pulled that fake "delivery attempt" i called them, bitched them out and made them redeliver that day. i'm pretty sure they just do it cuz they know 9 times outta 10 they'll get away with it. fuckers

I had a HUGE sign put right center of my door at about 5' from the ground that said "IF YOU NEED SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION KNOCK HARD I AM HOME"
Seriously, second ninja attempt in a week.
But now I have a Mac Pro and I am happy. I'm running 3 computer monitors as well.
