Yeah, but likewise, this is a bit too restrictive, it's kind of weird having the word "Mixing" since things in this category addresses a lot other aspects (like mastering, recording, tuning, managing, etc etc).

Yeah because F.O.H. really addresses mastering, recording, tuning, managing, etc etc. I think Mixing Desk would be a much more appropriate name and I don't even see how it could be argued otherwise. But you know what would be a REALLY appropriate name? Production Techniques. But yeah, lets go with the metaphors just because they're cute and clever.

Not too sore about it, don't really give a damn but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when you guys randomly just change everything to these silly nonsensical names for no reason. Could have cleared up the confusion by just renaming one or 2 sections to something more practical, instead of creating all of these campy and random names.

I don't get the frustration about F.O.H. instead of desk.
F.O.H. is a place you can go....like, I dunno, iE Backstage, the march stand, a bar (tavern for all the WOW/ fantasy guys like the lad in the vid ) ooooooor practice room.
So I find the nameing pretty fitting.
If anything then F.O.H could be Controlroom, but Mixing Desk would be a logical downgrade
