...with Sorath that I won't be purchasing any more records/CD's until 2nd of May (the date for the next record fair here in Umeå) -- wish me luck. :erk:

Damn, that's a long time. I made a pact with myself that I wouldn't buy any albums until after my birthday (in late March), except the new Hypocrisy. Already bought one a few days ago. Whoops.

Yes, but then again the bet is for less than $3 so it's not that big of a deal if I break it. :p It's mostly for myself; i have way too many albums I need to give proper listens.

Sorath wins this bet, :p...not that I can talk. I've been getting so many albums recently - once they've all come through, I'll post them in the Latest Purchases thread.

I am, I know... :erk: It's just that I miss those good old days when I had maybe 40 albums but I knew pretty much every song on every one of them. I'm going to really listen to all the new stuff I have, because I've received/bought a SHITLOAD in the last couple of months.

I can sympathise with you all the way to be honest...I was rummaging through my collection the other day and found Dream Theatre and assorted compilations that have fallen by the wayside for up to three months...and I'm usually pretty good about getting my music on the go once I've bought it. Whatever works...five months is way too extreme though ;)

No shit man, there was a time when I knew every nanosecond of my entire CD collection. Now I dread the day I find a CD out of its case with no text on the label and even listening to it leaves me lost. Hasn't happened yet...

Yeah, I used to have tapes of Tiamat, "Clouds" on the first side and "The Astral Sleep" on the other, and I'd listen to it at school all the time for a while and then when I got home I listened to the CD's. Waah.

All my CD walkman thingies get stolen. I just got one of them fancy mp3 types, I'll probably never use that feature though.

Also when I was much younger... I used to listen to 8-track and vinyl, not because it's cool, but because it was all we had. :p
