.......I don't believe everyone deserves a tax break......If you need more money, work harder....its the American way....

What are you talking about? They ain't gonna do shit!

The rich are the ones who make the Heinz ketchup you put on your McDonald's fries and the ones who pack your local Wal-Mart with Chinese shit.

You think for one second that Theresa Heinz (Senator Kerry's beloved beau) and the Walton family and the majour stockholders of McDonald's Corp. are gonna take a sock in the stomach?

If the government gives the rich a bigger bill, they're just gonna pass the costs on to you!

The poor will get hammered when they go have breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the fast food joints, and the Middle Class will get pummeled because they gotta pay property and income taxes on top of it.

FUCK that shit.

yep. my promotion makes me rich in obama's socialist eyes.

Anyways, nothing will help the poor except themselves mixed in with some hard work and well reasoned decisions. Oh wait, they are poor because they can't/won't do that. No sympathy.

yes... Obama has a wonderful idea and i love the drooling clubfoots that agree with him.

tax business owners into oblivion [EVIL RICH SCUM], so that they can no longer afford to employ a staff, or at least give them a decent wage, then EVERYBODY can be poor!!

SUCCESS!! EQUALITY FOR ALL!!

ALL HAIL THE GREAT AND MIGHTY OBAMA-WAN!! :worship:

I have no doubt that they will try and pass the costs on to the consumer, but remember the consumer sets the price. If its to high we wont buy.

you're absolutely right!
look how well that's worked with things like gas and food!

For those of you who prefer reality over rhetoric, here is a break down of the tax plans:

So, let's see: Both, like every presidential candidate outside of Steve Forbes who proposed a flat tax, support progressive taxation. Both give back tax credits to people who probably don't make enough to pay taxes, and yet you people drool on about Obama socialism. It's fucking retarded. At least be consistent: progressive taxation is a form of socialism, so why not call both of them on it?
We can debate the proper rate for the rich, which is where they disagree, but if you think either's tax plans will make a difference in your life, you are sadly mistaken.

The price of fuel has been falling because demand has been going down.

We are in total control.

The price of oil has fallen almost 100 dollars in the last year because speculators have left the oils futures market. Don't worry: it will come back up when we throw enough tax dollars at wall street and we don't pass any regulations.

I was kinda hoping speculators would start betting against oil, like they did in 2000.

I swear, filling my big-ass gas tank with $15 was FUCKING awesome! Gas stations closing their doors at 59.9/gallon was making me laugh like a hyena on nitrous oxide!

Ahh, light sweeet crude for $9... Its almost like a dream that was never dreamt.

BUT IT WAS REALLLLL, MUTHAFUCKAS!!!

2000 was like, "I say, anyone for a gasoline fight, a la Zoolander?!"

So thats what socialism looks like. I wonder how many people make up the top three spots and where does that high powered mutant Joe the Plumber fit in?

I get a refund year after year, even when i didn't actually own a home. Doesn't that mean i overpaid the system ?

Please don't laugh at me about this but i am trying to follow the guidlines i've been reading in Dave Ramsey's book about the total money makeover.

I constantly think about snoballing the debt that i concurrently have and how to best manage it, and also how to budget better with my wife so that we can get ahead for once.

It comes down to greed, and how it was packaged and sold, and how so many of us bought into it including myself. Greed from the consumer, Greed from the financiers in so mang facets of financing.

Of course you overpaid! And the government fuckin denied you a chance to even collect a few cents interest on that money!

Summarize it for me so I don't have to waste money buying it. I hope its not like that muthafucker John Commuta and his "Twansforming Debt into Welf" program. He tries to make people up to their necks in debt pay his "Debt coaches" for counseling sessions and it costs thousands of dollars! What a slimy scumbag!

Anyway, I think I'm doing everything possible to "Get ahead" and manage debt. Its just hard to get ahead when I'm earning shit.

I spent a year in Iraq to make serious bank, got rid of my wife, paid off my debt. Been debt free for about 4 years now. Its a pain in the ass to do in the normal civilian world.

Obama is offering alot of tax breaks for small businesses. And please dont mention the health care tax--thats only for companies that net 250k or more

OPEC is in control, they are meeting this to try and agree to reduce output. Now if we had more refineries operating here, and stopped selling the oil we produce to third world nations then we would be more in control of our dependence on oil

Sorry to disappoint you Jurched, no debt coaches here or any dumb shit like that. The book is full of the typical financial mistakes some extremely absurd, others things a lot have unwittingly including myself have fallen for. What i got out of it so far is how to budget better, then how to Really pay down your debt so you get ahead.

Example list all your debt. pay off the smallest debt first, instead of spreading it. when the smallest thing is paid off - take that money, and apply it to the next highest item. Keep doing this and apparently the process allows you to get your debt paid off much faster.

The thing is he admits in the book is that it isn't going to be easy, and that there isn't a get rich quick solution to this sort of problem.

That to me eliminates 99 percent of the books about the same issue on the market.

See, that differs from John Cunt-muta's method, which is put off the smaller debts with lower interest rates and focus all finances on eliminating the highest interest debt. That's all.

That, and being duped into having his $170/hr. debt coaches charging victims again and again, asking all the time, "How's the debt?" Answer: "Better. Bigger and better."

But Mccain is going to keep racking up more and more debt with his absurd Iraq war strategy, atleast Obama wants to get us out of there and focus more on Afghanistan, and theres no real reason to stay in Iraq--the iraqi population wants us out, and theres no real oil gain for us. The only ones that want our military to stay there are Mccain and the islamic terrorists that are using it as another rallying point for their cause
