i love how my job doesnt give us veterans day off

I think the only people who gets Veterans Day off are gubment employees.

well, the thing is, i work in a law office. all the credit agencies i deal with and the courts are closed. never mind that every veterans day i go to the VA and hang out with veterans and play cards with them and stuff and go to the parade and call my dad and stuff. this place totally sucks.

could be worse. I used to have to work on most every holiday along with the day after thanksgiving and so on.

i wouldnt mind working on other holidays. i think it's just weird and sort of ironic that our office closes for weird random holidays and then is open for this. but anyway, i'm taking it off.
