Is it me or are these metal covers meant to provoke children at age of let's say 12?


Come on, where are the new ideas, why do bands repeatedly put out crappy covers like these (I won't even start talking about the music...)?

I always thought the D&W cover was meant to be taken as a 'twisted child's storybook cover' -- if taken as just a usual cover, it's a bit weak. And those kids do look freaky

are you implying something about my nephew?
Well this cover is metal. it has death, it has violin, it has the uprising metal you watching death play a cover tune from skyclad, it is dark. what else to ask for?

no u are not right. there are plenty of descent covers going on...
but none better than "Awaken The Guardian" of Fates Warning ( iwouldn't even dare to compare the music content of these albums to the one of ATG)...

I consider Demons & Wizard cover awesome, that's why I bought the t-shirt also, about the music if it is not METAL then -> What the Hell it is?

I think that you are completely wrong if you think that this is a 12 years old kinda like cover, because D&W is not a "in vogue" band like Rhapsody or Stratovarius.

And if it was what the hell, Kids of 12 years cannot listen to metal?
C'mon when I was 12 years I was listen to Maiden and my older metal friends help me to find out more about metal. The kids have to start with something if it's heavy metal or black metal or death metal doesn't matter sooner or later they will look back and maybe someday you will be having a conversation with this 12 years old boy about how good or bad is Metal those days

yep, your an old man, but yeah i like some of the covers, and lots are very simillar and crap. new ideas needed i suppose. but then you dont listen to the covers, do you. so its not the biggest problem to face.

I know not the biggest, it's just nice to see a good cover....
