I Need Some Reccomendations

So far one vote for Rust in Peace but like i said i would rather leave that for when we do the 1990 thread. I'd rather we do one from the 80's or early 90's. Preferably a year we've already done.

Any suggestions?

edit: I think Crystal Logic would be fun, plus just about everyone here likes that album too so why not?

sure. i'd also be down with more sabbath and maiden albums. first two mercyful fate are also options, they both got top 3 for their years.

i think i'd probably be more interested in earlier megadeth albums tbh, i can't imagine the RiP polls throwing up any surprises. i guess we'll see.

I'm with you on doing one of the Mercyful Fate(preferably Melissa) or early Sabbath albums. Rising, Ride the Lightning, Peace Sells, Leprosy, The Legacy, Persecution Mania, Killing Technology, Holy Diver, Kill 'em All, Energetic Disassembly, Schizophrenia, Eternal Nightmare, Black Metal and one of the early Bathory albums would all be great choices too

i think there are quite a few songs on RiP that people consider to be among their best. Holy Wars, Tornado of Souls, Hangar 18 will all get quite a few votes imo.

Plus i'd rather we do the more acclaimed/staple albums before moving on to the others, but that's just me.

Rage Against the Machine, although it’s debatable if they’re nu metal and I do like most of Deftone’s “White Pony.” I can’t think of anything else from the genre that I’d actually describe as good.

it's horrible. But check out System of a Down, they're ok. Roots from Sepultura and Diabolus in Musica and God Hates Us All from Slayer might also interest you.
