@krigsbarn: the whole point of drinking or getting high is not considering the stuff around you. if you lead a charmed life and never need to do that, or are so strong that you can handle everything on your own, hooray for you. but it seems to me that someone who has all their reactions and emotions under control would not be afraid of something as trivial as, say, reputation.

Gahhhhh money is a problem that has never been solved by "giving $$$ to everyone who needs it" whereas Sexual frustration has the prostitutes as a solution. Of course you'll tell me it's not a real solution but giving away $$$ to everybody, do you think it is? The difference is that one problem is material, the other one is psychologic. Therefor, they both have a wrong solution, and a right solution, a fast one, a long one. An easy one, a tough one. So if people would think that not having money and not being happy is the same thing, they could fix both the same way, and really solve their problem. Easy ways we have so plenty for psychologic issues that now, people use those easy ways to both fix psychologic issues AND hide material lacks. Now my point is, why considering weed as the same as "suger in your coffee", "cherry on the top" if you know you had blinded yourself from the addictiveness fact of the product and go right in there without any common sense. Just because most of your friends said you can "control yourself" yeah well, it reminds me of teenagers who claim to be able to have sex without condoms, because "they can control themselves"... and most people they know are clean. Very wise population we got here. And I already know your replies with philosophical paragraph on how weed is nice and shit... give me a break. Most people who got aids enjoyed getting contaminated at the moment they did. Now the joke is hilarious, yeah. like the driver who said he wasn't too drunk, like the beautiful athletic girl who thought this burrito was both fat free and delicious

Im not going to waste your time or my time with a paragraph about how weed is lovely, and and wonderful.

You cannot use ejaculatory control here. That is something you really cant help, when it starts it starts. When I smoke I use it to self-medicate, sort of like how you would use alcohol in the same situation. I dont think Im a piece of shit for doing so, nor do I think Im addicted in ANY way to marijuana. I havent smoked today, didnt smoke yesterday, and probably wont tomorrow actually.

I have had a pretty fucked up life, and I didnt need weed or anything to help me get through it. Its not a crutch, I dont smoke to "escape." Ive met every fucked up challenge in my life head on and tackled it every time with out the help of anyone or anything.

So please before you group me people who are losers and people who do contribute to the good of our world, try to be alittle less ignorant.

and about "ignorant", of course! two corpses never know how comfortable is the neighbor's coffin. So yes, I ignore about your life, your weed is good. It's like einstein's theories, some of them were used to make atomic bombs, and some others were used to launch wonderful and peaceful planes that drop nuclear bombs. That's for you guys who forget what "controlling his driving" means when you're at highspeed on populated streets. You could be insanely tired, you could be drunk, you could be high. Considering that regular weed smoking has a linear effect that lasts longer than just "being tired yesterday". But anyway, YOU smoke it the GOOD way, don't you?

And also, I don't drink alcohol when I have problems, actually, I'd rather have sex more often and just keep the alcohol to its general purpose: occasionnal parties.

Please dont patronize me with this you smoke it in a good way crap. Im not an idiot, I know exactly what its doing to my body, but I guess I shouldnt go for walks anymore b/c the cars I walk by give off dangerous and unhealthy fumes. I mean Im knowingly damaging my body in both situations.

I enjoy being high once and awhile. For the people who arent attractive, blonde women and cant have sex whenever they want, it can relieve tension. Which, after all, i the same thing booze does.

Im a college educated, hard working, dependable, trust worthy pot smoker.

personally, i find resorting to stereotype commonplace clichés like those mentioned by kriegsbarn much more dangerous to mankind than someone's alcohol or weed consumption. it might not kill people in the streets, but it sure butchers even more brain cells.

as for choosing sex over alcoholic abuse, honestly: duh. next time go tell a bum if you were him you'd rather buy a flat than cover yourself with cardboard boxes.
i'm pretty sure if we could all get engaged in satisfying, meaningful and passionate acts of love we'd drink less. i'm pretty sure i still like drinks more than an occasional fuck. and i certainly find it more responsible to choose alcohol over going in a disco to pick up 16-y-o girls.
