Yeah, I thought I enjoyed it, too, and also thought it was the sole reason I smoked. For the first two days or so I really felt like something's missing, but now I can't recall having a fag all that enjoyable anymore.

I never had the habit, but my girl did (before we were a couple, I would never have a smoking girlfriend, couldn't take it) and hasn't smoked in about three years, once did she smoke a single breath when she was drunk and I was so fucking mad at her she never ever did it again haha
I quit a year ago this month. Seriously, the second best decision I've ever made. (Getting married was the first... don't let that get out! )
I smoked for 23 years. Quitting was tough. I still get the urge every now and then, but at least it doesn't control my life anymore. The cash savings has been huge. Make sure to reward yourself. I got myself a vintage u87 for the 6 month mark, & I'm looking at some km184's for my year mark.
The first week is the hardest. But don't give in to the "hey, that was easy... I can have one now & quit again later" line of thinking. You will fuck yourself.
I have been smoking for just about 5 years and I really want to quit but I have a really hard time just quitting cold turkey, like what OZ said I'll quit for a week and then give in or something shitty happens in my life and I just fall back into that trap.
