I have a lot to do yet (plus I need to get to work on the body again), but am I even remotely close?

That's why I said rough. I've only 'roughed in' the mouth area... still need do some work there. Jojo has some pretty intense concentration going on in her face when she plays...

I am picking out a photo that best fits the pose I will need (these are for a bigger piece), and then using that as my guide. However, there is no tracing involved (in this respect I am starting from scratch, if you consider that freehand), so sometimes there is a lot of 'nudging' involved to get proportions right later...

These are of course done 100% in Photoshop 7 (gotta love all those brush options!)

Admittedly, a harder way to go about it, but I want to get really good at this!
