what do you think?

on most of the boards ive been on there has been some debate over racial purity in black/death metal and its relevance to norse belief. personaly i think fucks like varg should be shot and that beliving in nazi ideals is wronging our ancestors as well as our bretheren. what do you think about this subject it would help me to have some opinions from other odinists.

Well I'm a total Socialist hippie so what would you expect me to think? nothing pisses me off more than to see a bunch of mentally disturbed and politically fucked people roaming the genre I love the most. I don't *like* black metal but still, I want to fucking puke when I see certain bands (oh, there's many, pardon me. And it's also real important that the 3421th demo sounds like it was recorded your ass) using Swastika's and what not, to fuck our reputation up even more. Teh fact that some twisted fucks get a hard-on by seeing pics of starved-out Jews cleaning up ffrom their dead relatives in gas chambers is sickening. And another thing, I don't *just* hate the self proclaimed Nazies (or National Socialist if you want a more smart ass term). Hicks, racists, sexists and rednecks in the metal community can kiss my skinny white ass too. And there's unfortunately quite a lot of these dumb motherfuckers.

i get so angry when i see all the nazi-scum using old nordic symbols for their own filthy buisness. a lot of the runes where tainted by the original nazis which is quite sad, and some organisations are still using them today. i wouldn't call my selft and "odinist" i'm only very much into our old history and beliefs, i detest all forms of religion.

I don't think that showing pride in your norse heritage so old it can be is a sign a racial purity. As for Varg, he plays and expresses his thoughts freely like anybody else. The whole Nazi story makes it impossible for anybody to show their Nordic pride w/o being associated with what we all know and that is bound to haunt the Nordic history forever. The same can be said about some rap bands singing about black power and shooting whites. Enough said. Music is a powerfull tool, it is up to you to make yr own choice.
Varg might embrace the national socialist ideal, oh well. Don't listen to it then, the more covergae he will get the more some people might look into his music. There has already been a thread posted on this matter not too long ago, getting into this type of debate is pointless.

Last night Ive been pretty drunk too, Patric! Was this celtic festival with a lot of stuff, folk music players, t-shirts, hand made booze and weapons. Many crazy drunk people and really beautiful celtic decorations all around!

That's killer Cadarn. I've been looking for such a torque to put around my neck for long time now. Did come across one in a Copenhagen tattoo shop, but it costed a fortune!

Anyway, just writing to tell ya I'm currently at the cartoon drawing course in Sweden and things are going SWEET. I'm starting a comic about the AA boyz so stay tuned as I may put it out on the net. They sell rather cheap beer n wine here so it's not like I don't get insipiration
