Are you fucking kidding me? I almost entirely agree with you(except I just happen to like older In Flames).

anony; fact is, Anders sounds too uncannily like Jonathan Davis now for Korn comparisons to be anything but inevitable. The music may not be very similar, but the vocals are pathetic....on both sides.

I just posted that because I think STYE bashing's gotten quite old. The only reason St. Anger had more was because it was much, much, worse. Also, STYE leaked a month and half ago.

It's just old. And the Jon Davis comparison is equally tired.

Really, there's nothing more to discuss. In Flames seem to have forgotten how to write memorable music, end of story. It's a shame, given that lunar strain, subterranean, and whoracle are some of my favorite albums.

And I agree, tjr is a bit overrated.

It's a fucking appauling album but come on, it's had nowhere near as many hate threads on here as metallica got for st.anger, jesus they were going for months!

That's weird. Whoracle is my favorite. I like colony ALRIGHT, and TJR is pretty good but I never enjoy it as much as whoracle. I really do love the lunarstrain/subterranean album though. All the others never get play time from me.

never liked whoracle, i did hear some good guitar on some parts, but i cant say its my favorite.
