Not if you live in the Mid-Western or Mountain Time Zone states. There are stretches of road out there where you could drive for 10 straight hours and not see another soul.

yeah I suppose...one time out in Iowa I cranked up my 73 Ford Galaxie 500 up to about 95 mph and I swear I saw God waving goodbye to me from the side of the road. I can't imagine driving 130.

in fact some old woman that I work with has a corvette, and she's always saying how she'll pull up next to another corvette at a red light, and rev her engine and stuff, wanting to race.. light turns green! bam! she speeds off and the other corvette just goes like normal.
keep in mind this woman is really old so whenever she goes into the details of being such a speedy rebel, its really quite a creepy scenario
Had a 2004 Mustang Mach 1. What a bad ass car. Loved going from Zero to the speed limit quite quickly, but I've never been to top out at high speeds. I think 100 is as fast as I've ever gone.

Yeah. The wife got a Mini. Then my neice moved in with us. We essentially had two cars, that were two seaters, and none that were good in the snow.Dark One said:

it's hard to push older cars to the limit, as they feel unsafe at high speeds, things start to rattle, steering vibrates ... etc. much easier to do in a newer car.

Ive been in a street regested VW Beetle drag car, and before you all laugh hysterically which im sure your all doing, this thing is good for 11 second quarter miles. This thing wheel stands and everything.
Out the front of the guys work shop we hit 90 mile on a single lane entrance road then had to hit the brakes before we launced over train tracks.
The crazy bastard drives it to work everyday, all i had to hang onto was a little airvent near the windscreen.

my speedometer goes to 140mph so i don't know how fast i've driven because it was beyond that.
