i dont have a need for one though so id choose a large sedan over any sports car with 6 airbags. yeah, if i had endless money, id buy a porsche but id still *probably* be safer in a toyota sienna.

Anyway, bumped this thread for no other reason than I picked up the latest Car and Driver and it has an article in it about how the Z06 gives a thrashing to a $200,000 Ferrari and a $130,000 Porsche. Although, amusingly to me, the Vette got third place because of "cheap plastics" and "subpar leather" haha. Yet, the $70,000 Chevy bested the Euros in every single performance category. YAY America

I dont believe you, a vette out handle a porsche or was it just testing its straightline performance witout testing braking, cornering and ability to keep traction without going through a set of rears a week.
