I was just wondering...

i blame myspace for the lack of updates. solefald for example has completely given up on their official website. i mean, how cool was the old site, in the 'Pills' theme, or the newer one when In Harmonia Universali was released.. they were awesome.

anyway, i actually like flash-websites. as long as they're easily to navigate through, and you don't have to wait each time for a lame intro and enter your birthday in order to gain access..
Well I mean I think myspace provides an easy solution for bands. I mean if you had to pay someone to update your cool looking site every time you'd agree too.

Seriously that's alot easier said then done. Have you taken a look at the java script for that site? Nothing against Mr V but I doubt he knows java script so he'd probably have to ask the person who did it for him to update, since that's how it usually works. And they'd probably charge a few hundred for that.

the ten minutes referred just to posting news...
for the rest I'm sure it's not very easy to edit the design a bit to fit in the new album...as for the lyrics
I meant for Mr. V to post them here in the forum if the site is not going to be updated. I'm sure that's not too hard.
it's going to be a while until SR will reach some countries...and singing along is to the promo untill the album arrives is hard without lyrics.

Html and CSS only sites are baby stuff really. Most of the best sites on the net are either done with some Java Script or Flash. Most web designer charge about 1000+ Euro to make a site. So you can understand why Vintersorg mighten be updating his website anytime soon.

Wow, they seriously charge that much? See, I was having a drink with my friend Simon and discussing Dimmu's new site, the deadline is tomorrow. Anyway seems he was having a lot of trouble with it. I never expected him to be getting that much money for it though. I knew I should have made him buy the drinks.

Well it depends, if he's still in college chances are he's doing it to get a rep so he didn't charge too much. Alot of web sites are done like that since it's cheaper and helps the trainee designer.

He's not in college. He made Type O Negative's/Mnemic's/TBM's and he was going to do Carcass' new website, but Jeff was being a bit of an arrogant bastard. But yeah he's also worked with Roadrunner and Slipknot. So he's a pretty well known designer. But I still don't think he asks for that much.
