I went for my first interview today (NMIT)

out of 300 only 24 will make it through, will you be the one to be TAFE Idol?


the course is called Cert. IV Techincal Productions e.g Sound Recording, i cannot say if i will make it but i can say that im not on the unwanted list, as the teacher said during the information night that they say after the interview if u haven't made it through to the next step, therefore i must have made it through.

i also put the course as my #1 priority with the RMIT version at #2, #3 is Music Ind Business and #4 is some NMIT Audiovisual course, which includes Lighting.

the bad thing is that #1 is moving away from the Collingwood campus (off smith st and very very easy for me to get to) to Fairfield, which i feel is only ascesbile really through a car, but i don't own one and don't have a driver's license so i don't know what i will do if i get my first preference.

Driving is overrated. It means you cant get drunk half the time when you wanna, especuiallyu when you're on your Ps! Argh!

I'd love to be able to afford something other than beer, at least when I'm out. Still, beer rules over all anyway!

Driving's good, it saves you money when you're out cos it stops you buying too many drinks, and means you don't have to get a taxi.

I couldn't stand not being able to drive, though the odd time that I do want to get smashed it is inconvenient that I am the driver.

crazy, I had to drive all the way down to Melbourne for the same course thing. You might've noticed me and my mum there

Then I realised I didn't really want to do it, so didn't bother making an interview! Boy was mum impressed having to drive 6 hours for nothing
