i think that is awesome. in contrast, my dad enthusiastically wears college football shirts given to him by his wife, local teams which he had no interest in whatsoever, say, five years ago.

but let me ask you this. when you get him gifts like this, what's his reaction like? i picture it as like "oh for jesus christ look what she brought this time!", yet wholeheartedly into it? or is he just quiet when he opens the stuff and therefore hard to read?
