Ibanez Thermion Amps ??

Yeah if nothing else we've got another v30 cab on the market. The amps sounds like it might be OK from the clips, although the ibanez guitars they're using sound like mud. Kind of reminds me of the Marshall Mode 4.

Clean are so good !!! I like it especially for jazz stuff.
Crunch good! kinda acdc stuff (of course marshall plexi are way better)
Lead sounds like shit! they're bad at all.
I hope the one who recorded the clips is a total dumb, maybe the amp could sound good live.
We'll see

For what it's worth the Toneblaster heads aren't half bad.
dude...no. the toneblasters suck ass they have no tone. it is like the lowest priced half stack out there and it sucks. i played in a band with a guy that had one and it sucked and im actually recording his new project today and have been for the past few weeks and i hate the damn thing. word of advice stay away from any ibanez amp if you serious about buying an amp.

*shrugs* I'm not saying it's top notch, but through a good cab at low volumes it's decent. Dino Cazares uses them....but what does he know about tone....

Like someone already said, I think Ibanez needs to stick to making guitars and pedals. I have always heard nothing but god awful tone come from those TB amps, bands come in sometimes with them, and I tell them they aren't allowed to bring it through the door, it stays in the parking lot.

Come to think of it, I think Gibson is the only guitar company that has ever successfully made an amplifier that was worth anything. Their old school Gibtone amps are actually pretty damn nice for cleans. And I know some people use them for that very light overdrive sound as well. I'm just sorry, but I think Ibanez wasted a lot of money on making this amp and marketing it. Not to mention it's $1,100 price tag is just...bleh. For that much money you can get amps you KNOW are the shit. You can buy TWO used 5150 heads for that much. Including shipping. Meh.

Lol, you shouldn't buy an amp just because one guy uses it. I bought my 5150 because I liked how it sounded. Not because some of my favorite artists use them. I almost bought a Carvin Legacy a few months ago, not because Steve Vai uses it/it's is signature amp, but rather because I liked how it sounded. I want a JSX badly, not because it's Satch's amp, but because it sounds great. That's a totally wrong way to look at why you should buy an amp..."well, Joe Schmo uses it, it's gotta be good." That doesn't fly man, sorry.

Unless, of course, you were being serious about Cezares not knowing good tone...in which case I agree and you should disregard what I just said.

"Uh, I think Fender has made some pretty good amps in their time."

and guru, stop bitching about low budget amps dammit....save your money and get something serious lol
