Cool man....i've had the odd person comment that my jacket is cool too but most people just call me a goth! (Goth? HARDLY!) That just shows you the mentality of people these days eh. All my metal mates think it's cool though 
Took me hours and hours of bloody sewing to complete it and it's my own little piece of artwork!
I'm currently attempting a revival of heavy metal around the north east. It's going to be hard as 99% of the bands are shity punk bands but we are giving it a go. I will not give in to nu-metal !!!!
We also decided that we are not just one genre...so we are Thrash metal, Heavy metal, Power metal, Progressive metal and even a bit of speed metal! (just to confuse peolple)
There is many people from all the the coutry on this message board so all of you who are in bands jsut go full out to bring back true metal into your areas. Lots of Uk bands doing it now so keep it up and over time things will improve!

Well if you dont replace my face with a pizza base (lol) then i do a monthly slot at Bar Phono and a night called Raw Nerve which is on 26th of this month i think (although i will cofirm that for sure). Its a mixed night no nu metal. I usually handle the classic stuff and heavy metal etc and my mate paul does his hardcore/metalcore stuff to so then theres a bit for everyoneJonoleth said:

Jono if you are also interested then theres whiplash at bar phono this month on 21st february which is a real heavy metal night. Ive been about 3 times and i have had a superb time everytime. Plenty of great tunes lashed out. If you wanna meet for some beers sometime then let me know. Im usually in bar phono on saturday afternoons and ill be there tommorow im sure. Im not hard to miss ive got a big slayer raining blood patch on the jacket.
Its great to know more heavy metal maniacs live in leeds. The more the better as you can never have too many friends!

Excellent mate! I am a big fan of patch jackets. i did have an old blue one but i decided the patches didnt look right so i wanted to get a new one. Theres plenty more UK bands who are wanting to get the metal scene back up and running and we can support them anyway we can. Man its amazing once i got told to take off my ridiculos jacket cos nobody likes Helloween anymore. Haha i laughed in that persons face and said im proud to wear this just as i am proud to be a fellow supporter of the metal scene.
With the support and the faith of all us we will have a revival of heavy metal back in england!!!!!!!!!!
and if you are in a band then perhaps i can give you a gig up here if you like in the near future ?

Nobody listens to them anymore??? What a stupid statement to make! I have a Helloween posterflag up in my room and every single one of their albums and i'm proud to be a fan of theres like yourself! Plus I know loads of others who like Helloween!
This was my first jacket i've created so it's nothing special....i got all the patches i could find and there is now nomore room on it. I'm busy looking for better patches though of bands i like more than the ones I currently have on!
I have too many Metallcia patches for instance but i'm not much of a fan to be honast..they were just easy to get!
Know anywhere on the net I can get me some good patches??? other than Ebay!

Hmmm well patches on the net...man thats hard i am actually rather lucky to have a place in leeds called ther badge shop which sells loads of ace patches but i dont think he has a website although i could get the address and see if they do mail order or something.
You should come up to the night one time im sure we could get you a place to crash no problem. Would be great to have more people from here to come. I reckon we should organise a meet up at my night for all bloodstock board members hehe

A mate of mine has informed me today that the Iced Earth gig is still on but then venue is now the Astoria!
I've checked the Iced Earth site and it says nothing on there....He says him and loads of people are going down and I should go with them......
Is this a rumour going round or something because it seems unlikely that a few days after canceling due to back injuries that Jon would have suddenly recovered enough to do the gig!

Well the venue has changed according to the meanfillder website...it is at the London astoria now!
As for the dates well i'm not sure where he got that information....if it's not on the official site then it's not official basically!!! So jsut have to keep checking up on it!

Just seems a bit strange moving venue when the gig has been postboned though to me. Why not just leave the change until the re-scheduled date is actually decided????
