I'm as disappointed as you are, because as I write this, I'm looking at my ticket for their show that is probably invalid now. But as Schaffer said, the possibility of doing permanent damage is there, so I'd rather see the guy recover, and then come kick my ass with an amazing performance than see him stand there afraid to move.

That is some shit news.
I was gonna see them with Judas Priest and Anthrax (I think) right before 911.
We all know what happened with the tour after that.

So this morning I check my e-mail and ticketmaster sent me a notice announcing the sale of non other than Iced Earth.
Great, I'll finally get to see the band.
Now I come here and my hopes are stomped on.

First no G3 with Yngwie, then no headlining SX show here in Dallas, and now no IE.

I think Prog/Power should be in Dallas this year to make up for it all.

Yeh I had plane tickets and hotel booked and everything...all that's now wasted!!!
But it's for good reasons.
last time they played in the UK was 3 years ago and I couldn't go....after 3 years of waiting i still can't see them...typical!
