so it seems that every emo-kid has got the exact same taste by accident

... which is my point, yes, scene kids do tend to look the same. but so do moshers, i guess they all got the exact same tastes by accident too? Point is, you dont see scene kids (i dont actually like to refere to myself as part of the 'scene') ripping shite out of moshers on internet forums, why? well, i guess i cant answer that. more integrity? i mean, a mosher can come to a hxc show, no-one cares. a scene kid goes to a death metal show, and he gets crap for the way he looks.

i guess it would go something like this if it was the other way:

LOLLLZZZZZZZZ, loko at their hair!?!? girls!!! lets go make a you tube video about it so all the scene kids can laugh.

end of the day, i asked for help on recording my band, which i take very seriously, and put alot of effort and time into. that didnt mean "hey guyez, find a reason to take the piss", which i dont care if it wasnt 'serious' is what you were doing.

(i like Behemoth's music, and i dont care about what they look like.)
(and Nathan, we played the Dog and Parrot in Newcaslte like 4 days before you. saw you guys on the gig board, possibly the hottest venue i have EVER played haha)

'cept for the extremely long hair he's got (as you can see) he doesn't really look "metal" (see his pants?), that should show you, that you're perhaps a bit easily offended, don't you think?

was my fault to think you're able to take some humor (i am) , you're not, so what, nothing bad happened and we can discuss on your music.
i'm never saying anything about hair when you're near again, now i know you react allergic towards that, so let's just forget 'bout that and talk about music and beer.

but anyway, back to the vocals.

yea laptop mic input isnt the best idea at all, horrrribbllleeee latancy problems sometimes with the sound 'card' haha, but its all i have atm till i get a decent a/i.

i eq boosted 100hz a bit, and then used a c4 to compress the lows and high mids, all on the vocal group track. i dont 'really' know what i am doing, which is why im trying to learn, i just fiddled till they sounded ok..


(yea LSD, sorry for being a bit pent up about it, i post on a number of metal forums, because i love the music, it just gets tedious when this happens on everyone. feel free to fault my recording though . im all for a joke about my nOObness.)

Ah sweet, we never got to make it up there though, the gig was cancelled the day before, i think, which was a shame cos i was looking forward to playing Newcastle, ah well.
