When I was young and impressionable, I heard the quirkiness and wasn't into it. Now I hear the quirkiness and I "get it" finally.

And I love it. Patton has a fucking amazing voice. I kick myself for assuming I'd hate it for long.

About three-four years ago I discovered a 90s powerpop band called Jellyfish and their "Spilt Milk" album has pretty much become my desert island album, it's never too late to right wrongs :)
 
If Angel Dust alone wouldn't pack more quality into one album than whole discographies of others, there comes King For A Day... and is simply perfect. Might also be the very best production of all time. Conservatively speaking.
