I bought it the other day from a store ($56 for disc only; no liner notes), and I like Vortex's work here, but the album as a whole is fairly weak. This is coming from someone who loves all their material, especially The Sham Mirrors.

the sham mirrors is the only one i ever listen to.

I couldn't stand this album on the first listen, because it starts off with some cheese and ends up seemingly bland

but its really grown on me, the only qualms I have is the way the guitars were mixed, it doesn't sound very metal... ha! ...

they went gay just like how winds went gay, but to a lesser degree and I can still appreciate it

and also I'm a Simen fanboi and his vox don't really do much for me on this album
