I'm going to my music festival. There will be me, and such brilliant bands as Dark Tranquillity, Iced Earth, (old) In Flames, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Type O Negative. Even better, I get to select the tracklists! Yeah! And I get to choose the crowds, and will even be allowed to play along with the bands.
BAH! WHO NEEDS LIVE BANDS ANYWAY??? Not me :rolleyes:

@Rahvin: - if you can convince the British government to deal with my passport application quickly and not lose it and my Australian passport AGAIN this time, I will not only come to Wacken with you, I will personally shout to everyone I meet 'THIS IS RAHVIN! HE IS MY KING!' :grin:
 
pfff. you don't need a passport to go to germany, not even if you come straight from shayol ghul without stopping by to drink a pint of saidin along the way. besides, i'd gladly do without the shouting part. :p
but if you seriously need id that you don't have to come... that's too bad. :cry: is all hope lost for august?

I've got my fingers crossed, coz I really want to go...but last time I found out after six months of waiting they had 'misplaced' my Australian passport and I had to get a new one...I'm gonna try hard to get there though :)
Oh...and saidin? Pfft, Saidin is for little boys who can't take the heat. Nothing but true source for me ;) (coming soon from Heinz 'tr00 sauce...for the Nae'blis in you :lol:)
 
I want to go, but I'm also travelaphobic, or whatever the fancy word for that is. I also have absolutely no idea of how much it would cost, and I only speak about five words of German, one of which I'm not completely convinced about. There's no way I'd go by road from here, I couldn't take that much travelling. Hmm.

Flights are fine. Travelling with strange unsinging men might not be though. :p To be honest though, I'm not confident about the money side of things. It would be too early yet to say whether I could go or not. :erk:
