Although you might not have them, bringing CB or FRS radios might be useful... you can set them to a channel pre planned on UM, maybe 5/13. That's rarely used by others, so UMers can communicate.. A set of good Motorola Talkabouts runs aroun $100, that's why I don't use those, but new Radioshcack brand ones run around $30 each, I believe. If nothing else, try to pick up a used set somewhee, maybe a tag sale, or borrow the from a friend. very useful, and decent range too. no service charge either, just the risk of others spying on you. If you want to keep your communications low budget, steal a traffic cone and yell through that
