i'm too lazy to summarize, but please read the following conversation. i need your opinion about the teeth.

antenna trash (1:47:30 PM): hey, you know how ashes are acidic?
ozmagreed (1:47:55 PM): no, i didn't
ozmagreed (1:47:58 PM): but continue!
antenna trash (1:48:01 PM): oh, well i didn't either
antenna trash (1:48:05 PM): until this particular incident
antenna trash (1:48:09 PM): but check this out:
antenna trash wants to directly connect (1:48:11 PM).
ozmagreed is now directly connected (1:48:16 PM).
ozmagreed is now directly connected (1:48:16 PM).

antenna trash (1:48:40 PM): those are my wisdom teeth
antenna trash (1:48:50 PM): see that tooth on the bottom left?
antenna trash (1:48:58 PM): would you agree with me that it's a perfect tooth?
ozmagreed (1:49:07 PM): sure!
antenna trash (1:49:10 PM): no
antenna trash (1:49:11 PM): it is
antenna trash (1:49:14 PM): it's a perfect tooth
ozmagreed (1:49:15 PM): it represents the idea of Tooth very well
antenna trash (1:49:20 PM): exactly!
antenna trash (1:49:23 PM): now
antenna trash (1:49:31 PM): toby had some of his teeth extracted too
antenna trash (1:49:32 PM): but!
antenna trash (1:49:44 PM): unlike me, he kept his teeth in this crazy METAL URN thing
antenna trash (1:49:48 PM): full of ashes!
antenna trash (1:50:03 PM): and consequently, his teeth began acidifying/decaying
antenna trash (1:50:17 PM): we agreed to trade teeth
ozmagreed (1:50:37 PM): whoa
antenna trash (1:50:38 PM): and it was sort of a gyp because his tooth was all damaged fromt he ashes, and mine were in perfect condition
ozmagreed (1:50:47 PM): maybe the ashes weren't acidic
ozmagreed (1:50:50 PM): but BASIC
antenna trash (1:50:50 PM): anyway, i was being NICE
ozmagreed (1:50:56 PM): !
antenna trash (1:50:58 PM): and so i traded the PERFECT tooth
antenna trash (1:51:05 PM): for his decayed tooth
antenna trash (1:51:22 PM): and he put the PERFECT TOOTH in the URN with the ACIDIC (or basic?) ASHES
antenna trash (1:51:33 PM): now that i've realized that the tooth is perfect
antenna trash (1:51:37 PM): i'm sort of freaking out
antenna trash (1:51:48 PM): it's been in toby's ashes for around half a year now
ozmagreed (1:51:54 PM): its fucked
antenna trash (1:52:00 PM): do you think it's irreparably damaged?
antenna trash (1:52:03 PM): NO
ozmagreed (1:52:05 PM): YES
antenna trash (1:52:08 PM): PESSIMIST!
ozmagreed (1:52:08 PM): sorry
ozmagreed (1:52:25 PM): i'm no little mister positive
antenna trash (1:52:57 PM): hmmm
antenna trash (1:53:20 PM): i will post this conversation and we will see what other people think
antenna trash (1:53:39 PM): hopefully they are not PESSIMISTS about PERFECT TEETH
ozmagreed (1:53:50 PM): sorry for being so NEGATIVE
antenna trash (1:53:55 PM): (aka i need a glimmer of HOPE)

SOMEONE GIVE ME A GLIMMER OF HOPE! please GOD.

i want my tooth back.

i feel like an asshole, but

toby, you can have another tooth. :(

My bio-chem major roommate says that since ashes are mostly carbon, it would depend on their "functional groups" to make them either acidic or basic. So it depends what else is present in the ash compound besides carbon, which could vary.
