Impulses for mac

I managed to convert it to wav with sdTwoWav but I don't know what to do with the sweep file :erk:

I tried that program too. I think the cab impulse is the file inside the "Mesa Oversize V30 I5" folder, but when I convert it, it sounds very, very wrong when used in Pristine Space.

All I know is, I followed the instructions in the PDF I linked to earlier, and it works great with Altiverb. It may or may not be compatible with other software. You guys have all the files I have.

Just out of curiosity - anyone gotten my IR working in software other than AltiVerb? Let me know, I want to make sure you guys are able to use it!

Y-Zero's wav version is working flawlessly in Sir and PS :smokin:

Yes, but direct IR convertation from Altiverb to wav format is not possible. (Altiverb IR's is NOT deconvolved & consist a original test tone.) Only way to convert it - put yuor IR into Altiverb (Altiverb demo in my case) and take a impulse responce by Voxengo Deconvolver.

I like your impulse - it sounds very good with my Mesa RectoPre and c4 on master. Do you have a other Mesa IR's with a different mic positions? Thanx!

I haven't made any other impulses, but at some point I will. I'll let you guys know!

Happy that it's working for people. Doesn't sound "dark" to me with my 5150 settings though, just has plenty of tight low end! :headbang:

Ok so this plugin, the Convolver, I can use this to import impulses and apply them to a guitar track, or no? I'm afraid I've done a lot of reading on the subject but still don't quite grasp it as I've not had the chance to actually do it yet.

No need to import anything just load the impulse and it will work.

It's easy - just do it and be amazed.

Well, from what I read it sounds easy, however I'm more of a hands-on or visual learner. I hate reading instructions, it takes me about half a second to learn something if I'm actually doing it or seeing it done, as opposed to having read the instructions 5 or 6 times

So this plug is basically exactly like Altiverb or Waves IR, only a little different, i.e. it works the same/does the same thing?

It's just a (very) basic convolver. I'm not familiar with Altiverb or Waves IR, so i can't tell you exactly how much more these plugins can do.

Ok...basically what I want to know is, if I don't have an IR plug at all, and I'm on a Mac, and I get this plug-in you posted, I can use impulse responses such as the one that Kazrog posted, Splatt88 posted, etc. Yes or no?
