IN LOVE WITH THA DEEJAYYY

Not really my kind of music but the mix sounds really good.

I'd probably dig it a bit more if the main guitar was a bit brighter/tighter and if the synth was a little bit less loud, but that's just personal preference.

What is the snare and its reverb? I dig it.

no one in their right mind would admit to this being their type of music... haha. BUT, hammered in the backseat of my pals audi we bumped this on the way home from a party and had a bit too much fun. i was also feeling the guitars could saturate a tad more in the upper mids. snare is metal foundry, i forget which one exactly but i tried all of 'em. snare bus from foundry was printed to an aux and then gogged with an ambient / room sample.

I actually like this music a lot, for the most part. (Except for the gay chorus) Nice mix dude. Sounds nice and organic, the only thing I'd change is brightening up the guitars a little bit, and maybe a tad less lows in the kick. Also, I'd bring the guitar up just a tad.

What did your master chain look like? And the bass chain. That bass sounds slammin.

This genre is such a guilty pleasure lol! love it and hate it! good work though I really like the mix and song!

Lyrics are hilarious from what I could gather, I hope its not supposed to be serious otherwise I have completely missed the point here!

Maybe just a bit ear fatiguing, but then again it's 7:39 am over here and I've just grabbed my first cup of coffee of the day. But overall it's solid, sounds punchy and fat. I would skip the keyboards on the chorus or at least choose a better keyboard sound for it.

OMG now I get the topic. :D *taking two steps back* party on dude!

always a struggle for me, the last mix was lacking a teency bit in brightness and guitar presence, so i gave the guitar bus a smidge of 2.5khz and ofcourse to my unfresh ears it sounds "better", but ... bah. balancing brightness and fatigue has always been tricky for me >:[

I think it's more of a mastering thing. Maybe you can soften it up with a nice sounding eq on the master bus? But yeah I know it's hard as hell to get it right.
