In need of a new amp

Hello people,

I am currently to buy a new AMP and get away from this 15WATT peice of crap I have currently.

My spending limit for my Second Amp is $400.00-$500.00 Bucks. I plan on playing with a small band maybe small local gigs depends.

I was looking into the Line 6 Spider 2 100 Watt (2x75W) AMP But I came here to ask what you all would say would be a good bye. Also, If I dont get the spider I would need some type of effect pedals or w.e. for my type of music.
